Tetractys x Golden Hornet

Golden Hornet's Young Composer Concert invites Austin-area youth ages 12–18 to compose original pieces of music with the guidance of a professional mentor and as part of a collective production team. A professional ensemble then performs student pieces, with the participant work reaching new audiences—such as those listening to KMFA and KUTX

For 2018, we are collaborating with the Austin Symphony and 250 other artists to celebrate the great Leonard Bernstein through Bernstein 100 Austin

Students selected to participate will receive various benefits for their contributions. The third annual rendition of this concert will take place on March 25, 2018.
